We had a great Saturday. We started the day out at the Houstonian to meet Santa! Davis spent some time checking out the conditions of the course (see above). Daddy and Davis:
Caroline helped Davis meet Santa:

Here is Davis telling Santa he wants a new house for Christmas (or legos I couldn't make it out!):

Davis did surprisingly well with Santa. Even after he got off Santa's lap he continued to want to walk over to Santa and watch him--he did better watching Santa from a safe distance than sitting on his lap. Caroline and Santa:
After a quick nap we headed to our Cottage Grove Fire Station. We decided that we would make it an annual tradition to take some of Davis' toys up to the local fire station where they are collecting toys. The firemen were so excited to see us-they could not have been nicer. They asked Davis if he wanted to check out the fire truck. They even opened up the truck and told him to climb into the driver's seat! You will see him with a shocked look on his face-as soon as I stuck him up in the seat they closed the big garage doors which slightly freaked him out!

We then headed to a party for the Lights in the Heights. Davis LOVED IT--this child loves any music so this was his kind of party. We walked up and down the streets listening to all the music.
This was a great way to kick off the holiday season! I cannot believe Christmas is only 14 days away!
