It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

We are in full on Christmas mode in our house!

We kicked off the festivities by celebrating my birthday. We took Davis with us to a newer steak place near downtown. He loved it and it was hilarious watching him walk into the restaurant-he thought he was such a big kid!  Carter was off with Nana and Papa enjoying her special birthday dinner with them.
We had a perfect view of the downtown skyline. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We decorated our house for Christmas with two fun helpers. It brought back memories of just a few short years ago when I had to watch the decorating from the couch because I was about to pop!

Thomas the Elf has returned and with him he brought fun pajamas. He even brought a sweet nightgown for Carter's doll, Evelyn.

We have also seen Santa twice! We started by having breakfast with Santa at the club. Leading up to the day she kept talking about just waving to him. But she rose to the occasion, climbed right up in his lap and had no problem telling him that she wanted golf clubs!

The next day we went to a birthday party where Santa came again. Davis and I decided this must be the real Santa because he knew all about our Elf Thomas! Davis told him that he had bought Thomas pajamas! Speaking of--Davis has such a sweet heart. We went to Hallmark earlier in the day and he saw a pair of pajamas for Thomas. He asked if we could please get them for Thomas! He also picked out  a golf ornament and was thrilled when I told him he could get it. He also found a ballet book that he picked out to give to his sister for Christmas. I love how sweet he is.
Carter told Santa to please bring her daddy some flip flops. She is so smart--she remembered back in August that when we were at Moody Gardens Jason accidentally left his flip flops behind. She wanted to make sure that Santa brought her dad some new flip flops.
