Cookie Monster!

Welcome to the cutest little blue monster you have ever seen:We did our best to get a ton of miles out of this little cookie monster costume. I just could not get enough of how cute my little boy looked in this blue furry costume! We spent Halloween Eve doing our annual tradition of visiting all the Houston relatives. We started at Grandad and Gil's house.

Then we headed over to visit Aunt Lu and Uncle David:

Then off to Memaw Knecht's house:

And finally over to Nana and Papa's house. This was mom's favorite stop because we got Papa's ribs for dinner! My mom and dad were with us during this adventure but shame on me I did not get a single photo with Davis, Grammy and Papa. Here's Nana and Papa greeting Cookie Monster:

Lauren, my mom and I made capes for all the dogs. Lady loved hers:
I can't believe my first baby is eleven. She is THE BEST dog!
Continuing with the festivities-Jason and Shawn took Davis and Caroline to the Houstonian's Halloween Party. I LOVE this picture:
For actual Halloween we headed over to trick or treat with some friends from Sunday School. Here are four of the five kiddos (one was asleep in his crib at this point!)

Davis loved walking up to the door and knocking-he also thought it was perfectly normal to just walk into houses! As soon as he walked away from the door he would hand me the candy and want to eat it! Needless to say he was pretty wired when we got home. We finished Halloween night by reading some Halloween theme books together as a family. Every holiday is just better with Davis. I cannot believe how much I love him and how much he has added to our lives. Just watching my little boy walk up the sidewalk to knock on doors was the highlight of my year! This is my favorite time of year and Davis just makes it better!
