PURE

This past weekend I headed with two friends from bible study and their mom/mother-in-law to the PURE retreat at the Hyatt Lost Pines. We had an amazing time and by the end of the weekend I felt spiritually recharged, which was the whole point! Lysa Terkehurst spoke and I felt honored to be in the same room with such an amazing Christian woman. I also attended a session about Spirit-led mothering and how to be a Godly wife.

Over the last few years I have really tried to work on the later but the former has obviously, become a new goal.

I felt God challenging me and growing me and overall it was a weekend well spent!

Let me just say that these friendships are a God thing. When Jason and I were house hunting I prayed that GOD would give us good neighbors. He exceeded my request when he put Tonya and Alex on our street. Because of Tonya my faith and relationship with GOD has grown leaps and bounds--Tonya had me join her bible study. Her bible study was a group of random women from all over Houston. It kick started me back into a relationship with GOD at the perfect time. She will never know how much she has blessed my life by bringing me to join her group and by her friendship. Love you Tonya!
