Catching up!

I have not been the best blogger lately--part of this is due to the fact that Davis is in constant motion and work has been crazy!

Davis had his one year check up a couple of weeks ago. He weighted 22 pounds! Dr. Lange was very happy with Davis' development. Just this past week Davis began transitioning into the toddler room at school. I cannot believe that my baby is being called a "toddler" at school--time needs to slow down!

Davis is so smart--he has really gotten into sign language. He can say "please" "thank you" "milk" "water" "food" and "more." He also will now raise his hands above his hand when Jason and I shout "touchdown!" His latest trick is to clap his hands together--he thinks this is great because mom freaks out every time he does it! Jason has also taught him to "go crazy!" which involves Davis shaking it! He is the most affectionate little guy--he loves to be rocked and gives me a kiss every morning before he leaves with dad for school.

Within the last couple of weeks he has started to have two teeth break through his top gums. This is very exciting because I was convinced he would never get teeth!
