6 Months Old!

I am six months old! I now roll all over the place--if mom or dad leaves me on one side of the room I will roll to the other side before they know it! I am very close to being able to sit up on my own. I still love it when mom or dad sings to me and I have found my voice!

For Father's Day I helped dad watch golf....
As you can tell, I am a happy baby...
Mom has taught me that if I want to hang out with dad I have to love sports. She took me to Target and bought me my first soccer shirt. We decided I would cheer for Italy because they had the cutest shirt....
I still love bath time. My new favorite trick is crying when you start to pull me out of the water.

Unfortunately, I have had so many ear infections that I had to get tubes. Hopefully, this will stop the constant ear aches I have been fighting. Overall, I have had a wonderful month!

5 years

HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO MY AMAZING HUSBAND! Today marks five years since I walked down the aisle and said "I do!" to my best friend, my soul mate and the love of my life. Never could I have imagined how my life would change when I met Jason Knecht ten years ago! The past five years have been amazing--GOD has really stepped in and worked in our marriage and I cannot believe how different we are today then we were five years ago.

A walk down memory lane.....Jason proposing:
Our engagment photo:
The night of our wedding....

Stomping grapes in Napa...

Spending time with ladybug on our Terrace...

We have celebrated eleven Christmas holidays....

Been to Pac-Ball, Petco, Wrigley, Minutemaid, Old Yankee Stadium and the Great American Ballpark!...

See more sporting events then I can count.....

Golfed along the ocean, deep sea fished, sailed a sail boat, snorkled, taken a hot air balloon ride....

Supported each other in our careers....

Spent time with family.....

Two-stepped on more than one occasion.....

And last, but not least--drum roll please...become parents:

Thank you Jason for making me happy every single day. Everyday I think I could not love you more--and I wake up the next morning and I do! I love you!

Supervised visit with Uncle Chris!

For Memorial Day Weekend we headed to Ohio to visit fun Uncle Chris. Uncle Chris is so fun that mom says the only way I am allowed to hang out with him is if she is around (just kidding--sort of)! I got to stay at Uncle Chris' new bachelor pad--he showed me all the cool things bachelors do....

We went to see the Astros loose to the Reds...

I checked out a brewery near downtown....
I hung out with Uncle Derek and Aunt Lacey....
I helped mom and dad check off another stadium on their list...
I dressed like a stud to pick up some ladies....
I enjoyed the sites and people watching at Taste of Cincinnati...

I napped after a hard day....
And I watched with envy as all the guys of the family left me to go to the Indy 500. Maybe next time I will be big enough to watch the race in person...
Thanks Uncle Chris for showing me around. Maybe someday my mom will let me visit alone :)

Port A!

This past weekend we enjoyed a trip down to Port A! Davis experienced a weekend of many firsts! First beach trip, swimming pool and boat ride! Davis got to spend a lot of time with his best buddy Reid. They wore each other out:
First dip in the pool:
Pre-Dip...
Getting ready to get on the boat:
Davis loved the beach. I sat him in the water and let him watch the waves. He did not move a muscle for a good twenty minutes--he just stared at the water. I would love to know what he was thinking. A nice bottle and beach time resulted in this:

The last time we went to the beach house there was one kid among us--now there are four!
We loved our weekend with the Allison's and are SO HAPPY they are back in Texas!
