Munchkin Knecht is 13 weeks old today! This picture was taken at 12 weeks 1 day--it's not the best picture but you can see how much Munchkin has grown in 3 weeks! Munchkin now has fingers (see Munchkin waving), toes and legs--if you look on the left hand side of the picture you can see a leg with a little foot! At our 12 week appointment Munchkin danced all over the screen--definitly my child! This week Munchkin will be developing fingerprints and thicker skin! We are excited for July when we get to have our doctor make a good guess on whether it will be a Miss or Mr Munchkin.

Happy Anniversary Week!

Four years ago this week I was preparing to get married! When I look back I still do not know why GOD felt me worthy to bless me with this amazing husband. I will never be able to thank GOD enough for the gift he gave me when he gave me Jason. We have learned so much about marriage in the last four years--and I can't wait to see what GOD has in store for us for the rest of our lifetime--one quickly approaching blessing comes to mind. Jason, thank you for being the best example of what a Christian husband looks like--I love you more than you know.

Psalm 139...10 weeks!
I was doing my bible study today and this was the verse we talked about this session--and I thought, "how appropriate!"
Ready: "You knit me together in my mother's womb, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139: 14, 16
God amazes me--I am not sure why I should be suprised that this was the verse today! In Beth Moore's words "God bid your heart to beat, for many days HE alone knew you existed. You were his secret. God's own skillful hands knit you together, His watchful eyes gazed on you, and His wise counsel ordained each of your days."
Little Munchkin, God has fearfully and wonderfully made you--and is still in the process. Every little detail God is personally selecting for you and even though your mommy prays for you every day--I know that you are in the BEST hands. I love you so much already!

Announcing: Baby Knecht!

It's official! WE will be welcoming Munchkin Knecht (love the name) around December 27, 2009! Munchkin is about 9 weeks old today, is about 2 cm and had a heartbeat of 188! The best news is Munchkin's heart works perfectly--we saw and heard the most beautiful heartbeat this morning! We agree with the Doctor--by far the cutest baby ever already!

A Night at the Museum!

Jason in the NMS Gift Shop--

Side view--I thought he should have bought the mask!
Jason and I declared Memorial Day Weekend-"Jason and Sam's Weekend O' Fun." Basically, this amounted to shutting the world out and hanging out together for the entire weekend! It is the first holiday weekend in forever that we have not had plans and it was awesome! Friday night we went to discovery green and watched a silent movie on the lawn--it was really funny--I highly recommend taking advantage of Discovery Green's Silent Movie night-you can even take a picnic. Saturday we woke up early-went to the dog park (much to Lady's delight), worked around the house, shopped, and ended the day with my favorite-Sushi King and TCBY! I have a movie recomendation from Saturday night too--we rented "Taken" and both thought it was great.
Sunday we went to church, then headed to the Museum of Natural Science--we are now members! I had never been and we thought it was SO COOL! We checked out the permanent exhibits (including my favorite-the dinosaurs) then headed to the Terracotta Warriors. I learned so much--inclduing that I really don't know anything at all! We finished the day off by watching Night at the Museum 2 at the Imax. It was just as cute as the first one!
All and all it was a GREAT weekend! I think every weekend should be declared Jason and Sam's Weekend O' Fun :)
