Updates!!

We really enjoyed the spring this year. Here is a look at what we were up to this spring:

We spent Spring Break camping in Garner State Park with our neighbors. It was SO FUN. Both of our kids loved camping and I will admit, I had a blast (yes, sleeping in a tent went okay). The kids rode their bikes, hiked, swam in the (freezing) river and made smores around the campfire. My favorite parts of the trip were biking as a family and setting up a movie to play on the side of a tent for the kids to watch.

 Silly kiddos:

We enjoyed Easter at home this year:

Davis finished up pre-k.  He had the best teacher and made some wonderful friends. I really enjoyed getting to read to his class. After we read together I got to have lunch with him in the cafeteria. Davis was so excited because when your mom brings you lunch you get to pick two friends to sit with you. These two boys were his best friends this year--he talked about D and J ALL.THE.TIME. I really hope that they are in his kindergarden class in the fall.

Davis' pre-k teacher was really great with the class-she had a lot of fun things. One of my favorites was Pancake! Pancake got to come home with you for a weekend if you showed good behavior.  Pancake made it home with each student twice. Both times we made a HUGE deal about Pancake getting to come home with us. I will never forget how proud Davis was when I showed up to pick him up from school and he had Pancake with him-he could not wait to get home to show Jason. Pancake comes with a journal and you take pictures of your time with pancake and include them in the journal. Pancake went to the mall, ate ice cream, had a slumber party with Nana and Papa and even enjoyed some Tex-Mex!
Carter is my sleeper! When she is ready for bed it doesn't matter where she is:

She is still my momma's girl. She loves to help me work out:

Davis enjoyed playing t-ball this spring. He had a blast with all of his buddies. I enjoyed getting to Coach him--I think it might be one of the last years where he brags to everyone that his mommy is his coach! He was really proud of that (which melted my heart). We had such a great time and one of Jason's good friends from high school helped me coach. It was very much like herding cats but so fun!

We had to have a slumber party with some of the friends on the t ball team! We did a Star Wars slumber party-everyone got to play with Star Wars action figures, eat Star Wars cookies and watch Star Wars the movie.

Davis has the world's greatest grandparents. They made every single game! His Nana and Papa are the best cheerleaders and I know make Davis feel so loved. They are amazing. Davis was also lucky enough to have his great-grandmother join him for a game!
 Last day of pre-k:

Bring on summer!
