We had an amazing Easter weekend. We headed to Dallas to spend the weekend with our best friends-the Allison family! Davis had so much fun! We headed up to Dallas after Davis' swim lesson which was perfect because he slept the entire way to Dallas. Friday we spent the day in the Allison's amazing neighborhood-we walked to the pond and fed the ducks and then played at the playground up their street. Friday night we left the munchkins and headed to a Mavericks game. Linda and I made pajamas for everyone for the Easter weekend. Here are the cuties in their pajamas while we are at the game:

The babysitter texted us and let us know that Davis was asleep before 7pm! Saturday we headed out to the Dallas arboretum to enjoy the beautiful weather.

It's hard to believe Reid is only two months older than Davis. He is soo much bigger!

Davis' favorite new thing to ask is "what's up mommy? what's up?" when you ask him "what's up Davis, what's up?" he responds with "just chillin." Here he is just chillin:

Family picnic:

We spent the entire weekend outside

Saturday night we had another picnic outside...then headed to the park to fish and feed the ducks. Pictures of our first catch to come!
Easter morning we headed to church and then came home to find the Easter bunny had stopped by!

We hunted eggs:

We dyed Easter eggs (which with three children under four was slightly stressful)

It was such a wonderful weekend! I felt so blessed to spend such a sacred weekend with such a special family. It is hard to believe that Amy and I have gone from slumber parties and staying up late talking to kiddos and trying to keep our eyes open past nine pm! Thank you Allison family for such a perfect weekend!
Oh my goodness. I live less than a mile from the Dallas Aboretum. Next time call me!!!
