The post is a little out of order. This weekend Jason and I celebrated six years of marriage! We agreed that this was our favorite anniversary of the six. We woke up and had breakfast as a family and then headed out to Noah's Arc--a swimming/rec center run by a local Methodist church. It was perfect for Davis because the water came up to his knees and he could run all over the pool. Jason and I have a tradition (thanks to my mom) where every year on our anniversary we take a photo. We then place that photo in an "Anniversary Album" and then write down what we did that year. This is the photo for year six:
The slide he went down close to 30 times:

Davis loves his sunglasses:
We then headed out to the Houstonian (after a failed nap attempt) where we swam until bedtime. Davis has now graduated to facing forward in the car:
After Davis was asleep, Jason and I grilled out and ate dinner on the Terrace. It really was a perfect day!

We also helped Papa pick out some new clubs:

I took off work early to go to Davis' end of the year party. Again, Jason and I were the only parents in attendance but Davis did not seem embarrassed!

Davis turns 18 months this week. It honestly just keeps getting better. I love how he interacts now. He loves to go to the window, point outside and do the sign for bird or make the sound for monkey or lion. Here is is before school on Friday-they had their first splash day:

We are looking forward to a visit from the Alison family next weekend!
